City Lookup Table

It is now possible to enter frequently used cities and countries into a table so that they can be easily loaded on reservations.  Follow the steps below to enable:

To Enable

  1. From menu 98, choose the 090-Update System Tables option
  2. Select "U" to update tables
  3. Select the CX table to input cities.  Select the CP table to input Countries
  4. Enter "S" for sub-record.
  5. For the sub-record, enter the short cut keys.  For example, CHI for Chicago, NY for New York.  Some examples appear below:

  6. When making a reservation, at the city field you can enter "NY" and "New York" will be filled in.  Or you can press <F3> and choose from a list.
  7. The country table works the same way.  A sample of the CP - Country table is below.

To Disable

Use RDP090 to delete all entries in table CP (countries) or CX (cities).
