Why Reservations Did Not Transfer to Non-Active History

Added: 03/27/02
Version:  12.02
Revision:  205
Article ID#: F000059

RDP maintains two guest database, on for "active" reservations and one for "non-active history". Reservations are moved from "Active history" to "Non-Active" history when option 910 is selected from the system manager menu.  We have now added the ability to view and print a log file that indicates what reservations were transferred, and which reservations were not transferred, and WHY they were not transferred.

To Enable

  1. Update to the most current revision of Version 12.02
  2. From menu 98, select Pption "910 - Transfer to Historical Files"
  3. Select sub-option 1 - Transfer Reservations from Active to Non-Active History
  4. When the transfer process finishes, press <F9> to view the logfile
  5. If there are old reservations that do not transfer, please call RDP support at 970-845-7108.  There may be some sort of data corruption that prevents old reservations from transferring.

Note:  Reservations are held in "Active history" for the following reasons:

To Disable

This feature is active in all Version 12.02 systems.
