Adding a Verisign Security Certificate

Step 1: Instructions for Loading the Seal on your IRM Website

  1. Go to: http://www.verisign.com/products-services/security-services/secured-seal/non-flash/index.html

Step 2: Select a Seal Style


Small Seal
100 x 72

Medium Seal
115 x 82

Large Seal
130 x 88

This Web site has chosen one or more VeriSign SSL Certificate or online payment solutions to improve the security of e-commerce and other confidential communication

Note: These Seal styles are intended only for Web sites that cannot display Flash-based content. If your Web site can display Flash, please go to http://www.verisign.com/products-services/security-services/secured-seal/seal-install/.

Step 4: Enter Your Common Name

This is the fully qualified domain name of the Web site secured by the VeriSign SSL certificate or entered for the Payments account. Make sure to enter the common name exactly as it was entered for the certificate or account. For example, if the certificate's common name is www.verisign.com, enter the complete common name, including www. Do not include http:// or https:// in the common name. In the example below the common name is " www.montanasfinest.com "

Step 5: Create Your Seal Script

  1. Click Create Script to generate the Seal JavaScript for your Web page.
  2. Copy and paste the script into the HTML where you would like the Seal to appear.


Step 6: Copy and Paste the Seal on the IRM

  1. The default IRM installation includes a Verisign Seal displayed on Accesstype2.htm located on the C drive on the IRM server in the inetpub\wwwroot\irm\usertext directory. Copy and paste the above code into the Accesstype2.htm.

  2. In order to center the seal on the page add the following center tags:

    </center>     

                   

Test the new HTML pages on your server.  Congratulations! You are now displaying the most trusted brand on the Internet.
